Meet the Builders

The first home that Shaun & April Secrest built together is the one they have enjoyed raising their family in since 2008.

They’ve taken on each subsequent project with its future residents and their loved ones in mind. A new home is a big investment and building it to last requires meticulous attention to detail. This is a big responsibility that Palisade Valley Homes carries for each client with honor and delight.

Shaun & April maintain excellent and steadfast working relationships with each trade crew. They personally prepare for, lead, and oversee each stage of the construction process on-site. Each year they build a very limited number of custom and spec homes for current and future members of their beloved home community – because the Grand Valley is the best place to work, play, and give back. Shaun has also served the community as a firefighter with the Clifton Fire Department since 1993.

When they are not on the job site or in the office, you’ll find them enjoying the great outdoors, gardening in their own back yard or mountain biking & fishing on the Grand Mesa.
